Raging River

Raging River is located near Port Alice, BC on Vancouver Island.

The project consists of two single runner Francis turbines driving 4.5 MW generators for a total of 9 MW of generation. The project is unique in that it is using an existing 100 year old dam structure that was used to power a mine and its townsite in the forest between Port Alice and Port McNeill.

Prime Engineering is designing all electrical and controls for the facility as well as supplying a large amount of the electrical equipment and will be a integral part of the commissioning of the facility.
